The first and best known of the PODs. Unfortunately, due to unethical practices over the last year, I can no longer recommend them. One of the flaws of CP is that they have not kept up with the times. For a site that has been around as long as they, it is hard to see why they have not kept ahead of their competitors, and why they have changed their TOS to drive their most experienced and loyal shopkeepers away, particularly given that there are so many good competitors on the net now.
Hosted Shops: Yes Simple free shop where you can only have one of each product. Paid shops for about $60 per year. Designer: Simple. No adding of text and backgrounds. Very poor and the worst of just about any other POD out there. Ease of use: Site is easy to use. Marketplace: Yes The marketplace is popular and does draw in some customers, depending on the type of designs you offer. CP marketplace is the only redeeming feature of Cafepress.
