Overview
Artsnow is a Hong Kong based business with heaps of products and options to choose from. I love the quality of their products, especially the handmade/handsewn bags. I use them a lot and can ignore some of their problems but I hate that customers have to sign in to AN before they buy, and then they sometimes can't get back to your shop. Signing in also means that they are tempted to make their own store instead of buying from you.
Hosted Shops:   Yes - FREE and paid A variety of shop options to choose from - free, reseller/dropshipping, VIP. The free shops have full functionality including as many products and sections as you like. Reseller shops have free postage but can only be seen by the shopkeeper so are great for dropshipping. Designer: A basic designer and a fantastic "Silverlight" designer where you can add text, backgrounds and much more to your designs. Ease of use: A fairly high learning curve at first. Gets easier with practice. There is talk of someone writing a manual which I think will be very valuable for beginners. Marketplace:  Yes Very little traffic, you have to get your own customers. I have noticed a bit of a pick up in marketplace sales but don't rely on them.  Other: Because of past fraud problems AN now ask that new shopkeepers arrange to have money transferred to their bank account to make product payments instead of Paypal. This is a very big problem in my opinion as it makes things so much more difficult to deal with them. If you are going to buy stuff yourself it pays to transfer a larger amount, say $400 to cover your near future purchases. Customers still purchase your items with Paypal.
